Ancient Catalan Country
This magnificent Catalan Bergerie is a fabulous rural retreat, located in the foothills of the Pyrenees with breathtaking views of the coast, the surrounding mountains and the magnificent Canigou mountain which is snow-capped from November to May.
In the heart of this wild landscape, you will be at one with nature in absolute peace and tranquility and just ten minutes by car from the charming village of Castelnou, one of the “Most Beautiful Villages in France”
This beautiful house evolved from an old Bergerie dating back centuries to become the 10 bedroom Catalan Mas it is today, set amongst 12 hectares of undulating terrain.
The 16 x 8 m swimming pool has breathtaking views of the valley and the mountains that surround this beautiful site. There is a huge sitting room with the original Bergerie fireplace, 10 bedrooms, 9 bathrooms and 4 kitchens and sleeps from 22-25. The house is great for large groups, allowing for people to spend time all together but also to retreat to their own space.
The house can also be rented in separate apartments.
‘Canigou’, the Tower Apartment, sleeps 4, with its feature tower room, giving 360 degree views encompassing Mount Canigou, the Alberes mountains and down to the sea; it is truly breathtaking. A freestanding bath is the ultimate luxury from which to take all of this in!
‘Roc de Majorque’, is a studio that sleeps 3 with a large private terrace with views of the wild landscape all the way down to the sea.
‘Castelnou’, the Garden Apartment, sleeps 9 + with 4 bedrooms, large open plan kitchen and sitting room and french doors that open out to the garden and views of the stunning landscape.
Close to Perpignan, the property is 40 minutes from the Mediterranean Sea with large sandy family beaches at Argeles and Canet en Roussillon, St Cyprien and lots of other little coves along the coastline and the beautiful coastal town of Collioure.
Hiking, watersports, mountain biking, canyoning, white water rafting and horseriding are amongst many activities nearby. And there are plenty of vineyards to visit!
Relax and Peace of Mind
Relax by the swimming pool surrounded by nature and views of the surrounding mountains. Enjoy Yoga on the terraces or on the viewpoint deck offering panoramic views all the way down to the sea. Spend time with friends on the sofas under the pergola and the large communal dining areas or retreat to the many more intimate spaces dotted around of the property.

A Magical Place for the Whole Family
"Mas D'en Linas is a magical place for the whole family. We loved our stay with 360 deg views across to the mountains. The pool is huge and kept the children entertained for hours. There is air conditioning in all the bedrooms so you can cool down at any point in the pool or have some quiet time in your room. Amazing facilities with several kitchens that are well equipped. BBQ area too.
You can reach the seaside in 30 min and the shops in 15min. It's nicely away from the town so you feel part of the olive groves and vineyards that surround the property."

Amazing holiday house
"What an amazing holiday house with lovely grounds and a beautiful pool large enough for our big extended family . They have thought of everything - the house is so well equipped. We were so grateful for air-con as the weather was very hot - but plenty of shady spots and outdoor seating areas. We feel so refreshed and ready for another year."
Fantastic week
"We had a fantastic week here in August. The scenery and views are beautiful and the house is wonderfully secluded. There are some lovely local villages to visit and the coast is only a short drive away. We spent lots of time hanging out around the huge pool and enjoying evening drinks on the terrace. It’s a gem of a place that we have recommended to lots of friends."
